Affiliation with MTO (Muay Thai Ontario) - Targeted for 2023

We are proud to announce that Budo Kombat Dojo is being targeted for affiliation with, and as an official Member Club of Muay Thai Ontario (MTO) for the year of 2023.

Being a Member Club with MTO, the affiliation will provide Budo Kombat dojo instructors and its practitioners increased levels of Support, Education and Competition with the Muay Thai community in Ontario.

Support
MTO’s goal is to unite the community and give owners access to vendors and service providers. Often it is difficult for a single club to secure pricing with limited resources. MTO desires vendors and providers to view Muay Thai clubs as a community of like-minded people.

Education
MTO is eager to help the Muay Thai community in Ontario grow. The goal is to position the club owners as leaders in the Martial Arts throughout all of Ontario. Seminars will be delivered throughout the year ranging in various topics relating to technical Muay Thai skills for coaches and instructors, club management, and business leadership.

Competition
Muay Thai is forged in battle and tested regularly in the ring. There will be at least one (1) tournament per year and weekly or monthly competitions held by club owners, sanctioned by MTO. MTO enables access to National and International Championships through direct affiliations with: the National Organization, Muaythai Canada (MTC), and the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA).
